Tehran – A Persian translation of the book “Routledge Handbook to the Middle East and North African State and Provincial Systems” by Raymond Hinnebus and Jasmine Ghani has been released in Iranian bookstores.
Asgar Gallemanpur has translated the book, and Joyandeh’s publication published it on 914 pages, Ilna reported.
Conflict and instability are embedded in the very structure of the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) state and state systems. However, both state and state systems have shown significant resilience. This handbook accumulates empirical research from key discussions, theoretical approaches, and prominent scholars in the field, providing essential context for scholars pursuing research on MENA state and state systems.
The contributions are grouped into four key themes: MENA’s historical background, national construction and politics. State actors, social contexts, and popular activities. Transstate politics: A context of political economy and identity. And international politics in Mena.
Chapter 26 examines the evolution of state and state systems before and after independence, strengthening the 2011 Arab uprising to the trends already embedded in the system, revealing deep features of the state and system. As a pivotal moment, especially in their incorporation – vulnerability and ability to survive.
This handbook provides a comprehensive coverage of the history and role of the nation in the MENA region. It provides important resources to all researchers and students interested in international relations and the Middle East and North Africa.
