TEHRAN – The 26th International Storytelling Festival, hosted by Children and Young Adults (IIDCYA), hosted by Iran’s Institute of Intellectual Development, ended in Yazd on Tuesday with the announcement of winners in various categories.
The festival aims to promote storytelling and identify emerging talents, and featured participants from Iran and eight other countries.
Featuring music and awards for national and international winners, the ceremony pays tribute to veteran storyteller Maryam Nashiba for his decades of contributions to storytelling and promoting culture and literature. did.
In the international section of grandparents and traditional classical categories, Hassan Jafari in East Azarbaijan, Hamide Abrishami in South Khorasan and Sogara Kajonejad in Kerman were respected.
In the traditional classic category for ages 17 and above, the winners were Zainab Rajabi from Yazd, Feise Hosravi from Karman and Fateme Mohammadi from Kazbin. Congo’s Juma Kadijaja received an honorable mention.
The traditional classic category between the ages of 12 and 17 recognized the Mohammad Taha Ethemadian of Yazd and the Chiarash Rabari of Semnan.
In the modern and innovative storytelling category for those over 17, Lebanon Ali Kalut, Kazbin’s Ahmagan Sadat Hosseini, Yazd’s Madie Keshvali Mokhadam and Zanjan’s Hadi Rafiey were selected as winners.
In the 12-17-year-old group in the same category, Yazd’s Fatemeh Sadat Mirzababai was the winner.
For the storytelling of the traditional ritual, Sarah Hoseini of Hadan, Sahar Keikai Jawan of Sistan Balsestan and Seyed Ali Musavi of Yazd were the winners.
In the 12-17-year-old group in the same category, the winners were Fatemeh Mousavi Hakimabadi of Khorasan Razavi, Iman Qasemi of Isfahan and Sarina Seifi of Tehran.
In the storytelling in the sign language section, Arboz’s Marji Akahani, Tehran’s Zainab Sabbagh and Tehran’s Leila Alzangi appeared as winners.
In the sacrifice and resistance storytelling category, Fatemeh Bahrani and Naimeh Bidmeshki-Yazdi from Yazd were recognized for their contributions alongside Maryam Mehdipour of Alborz. Among the age group of 12-17, Seida Sabari of Ilam and Sabari of Tahola Mazadeh of Khorasan Razavi were announced as winners.
The 26th edition of the International Storytelling Festival is based on the theme of “The Secret of Stories Life,” and is judged by well-known figures in the field of literature and storytelling, and awarded the recipients the opportunity to participate in national and international programs. Ta.
