The 18th edition of the Tehran-International Resistance Film Festival has announced the introduction of a new award, the Morteza Badge, as the festival secretary states.
This prestigious award is intended to acknowledge a documentary who resonates deeply with the ideology of legendary martian Seyed Morteza Avini, known as the master of Martyred Writers.
At the beginning of the festival, Gafari revealed that the documentary committee will award Moteza Badges to well-known recipients in the documentary category.
The accolade will be awarded by a well-known ju-decided to those who are thematically consistent with the principles clarified by martian Avini.
He highlighted the documentary committee’s commitment to avidly assessing the influx of submissions, and characterized it as an already full-scale, important effort.
Additionally, he said the committee will hold a professional meeting along with the documentary, focusing on the topic of the documentary.
They also organize both virtual and in-person courses on key aspects of documentary filmmaking. He explained that it covers everything from the fundamental elements of the genre to the innovative applications of artificial intelligence in documentary production.
He noted that this edition of the event has seen a significant increase in documentary submissions, with entries from various regions within Iran and around the world.
He expressed optimism about the festival, claiming that the improvements in quality and quantity of submissions marked a remarkable evolution in documentary filmmaking, setting the stage for events that reflected the ideals and front of resistance of the Islamic revolution.
He said many documentaries from respected institutions and organizations, including the Arts and Culture Organization of the Islamic Revolution, the OWJ Art and Media Organization, and the Experimental Film Development Centre, have flooded the festival’s office.
Additionally, he said that contributions from various national congresses commemorating the martial artists and many revolutionary documentaries have further heightened the festival.
On his final trip to the Iran-Iraq war zone in the former Iran-Iraq war zone in southwestern Iran, Avini martialed the landowner when he turned the documentary “City of the Sky” into a “City of the Sky” on his last trip to the Iran-Iraq war zone in the former Iran-Iraq war zone.

Furthermore, the Art Bureau, an Islamic Ideology Promotion Organization, commemorates the anniversary of Avini’s martialism every April by holding Islamic Revolution Arts Week.
The Revolution and Sacred Defense Film Association and the Revayat Foundation organize the Resistance International Film Festival every year.
The 18th International Resistance Film Festival is an important platform for the promotion and dissemination of films that embody the spirit of resistance to injustice, oppression and inequality.
