Tehran-A The Persian translation of the book “Dallergut Dream Department Store” by Korean author Miye Lee was recently published by Tehran’s Milkan Publications.

“Dallergut Dream Department Store” is a whimsical department store surrounded by mystical towns, representing the sanctuary of the Dreamers. Both humans and animals flock to this extraordinary facility to purchase and experience their wildest dreams, each made with care and intention.
The shop is divided into different floors, each dedicated to unique dream experiences, ranging from nostalgic childhood memories and cooking fantasies to constantly sold out fame and fun, elusive, flying dream aspirations. Some of the visitors seek comfort in a dream of reconnecting them with their lost loved ones.
A dedicated new employee, Penny sees work at Dream Department Store as a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. As she immerses herself in this surreal world’s fascinating mission, she forgets her deep connection with the vibrant cast of characters.
Among them is Darrelgut, a wise and glamorous owner who conveys wisdom about the importance of dreams. BabyNap Rockabye, a famous dream designer whose creation captures the essence of joy. And Maxim, a producer of a tragic nightmare who wrestles against the dark side of his dream.
Through these relationships, Penny discovers that dreams serve a variety of purposes, such as healing, personal growth, and spiritual prosperity.
The story weaves in a rich tapestry of adventure and exploration, and conveys a deep message about the importance of dreams as they ultimately deal with challenges in daily life.

Born in Busan in 1990, Mie Lee graduated from Busan National University with a degree in pure science and engineering. She began her career as a semiconductor engineer at Samsung Electronics.
In 2020, she released her debut novel, “Dallergut Dream Department Store.” It was fully funded and received enthusiastic acclaim through crowdfunding in Korea. Her latest work is entitled “Break Room.”
