BEIRUT – The Lebanese Army Headquarters has announced the martial teaching of six members of the unit conducting field operations in the Majdal Zouna Wadi Tsebin area of the Tire district.
The Lebanese army lamented the martyrs as follows: First class Abbas Fauzi Salhab. Conscription Ahmed Fadi Fadel; Conscription Ibrahim Khalil Mustafa; Conscription Hadi Nasser al-Bay; Conscription Mohammad Ali Shaqir; Conscription Yamen Al-Hallaq.
“An explosion occurs while the Army units inspect the armory and dismantle the contents of the wadi zeckin, tires, causing injuries to six soldiers, martians and others,” the Army commander said.
The statement indicated that the Army was following up details of the incident to determine the cause.
President Joseph Own called General Rodolph Heichal, the commander of the Army, to inform him of the circumstances surrounding the tragic incident.
Aoun expressed his sadness towards the soldiers’ martians, dedicated his loss to their families and the army, hoping for a quick recovery of the wounded.
On his part, the Council President Navi Berri, with the deepest of his sadness, extended to the family of martyrs.
He said, “I repeat the fate of this national institution to unite the hopes and aspirations of the Lebanese, maintain unity, security and stability, provide more martyrs and injured people, and protect the sovereignty of the people.”
“In this painful, bloody moment, we have stood by the army and its side, pledged our pledge of loyalty and loyalty, regardless of cost, to allow it to fulfill its citizens’ duties.”
On his side, MP Ali Ama, a member of the Hezbollah parliament’s bloc, expressed sadness to the Lebanese army and the family of martyrs who “watered the lands of the southern part with pure blood mixed with the blood of honorable resistance fighters.”
He emphasized that resistance would remain “in one ditch” with the army.
“It is our people’s destiny to sacrifice their most precious people to protect their homeland and maintain the unity and stability of Lebanon.”
He argued that the Lebanese army formed “the national security valve through the sacrifice of heroic soldiers” and, together with resistance and people, had built a “golden trilogy facing Zionist enemies and their ambitions for our land, water and wealth.”
To the Lebanese army, the lawmaker said: “Your suffering is our suffering and we will remain in one trench to protect Lebanon’s freedom, sovereignty and independence.
Meanwhile, the Lebanese Army Command warned against the organisation of “immense action” and emphasized that it would not allow “violation of security or violation of civil peace.”
In a statement, the Army commander said, “In addition to the sensitive security situation, in light of the exceptional challenges facing Lebanon at the current stage, particularly the violation of Israeli aggression and national sovereignty, calls have emerged from individuals on social media in protest.
The Army commander warned that “citizens are against putting the country’s safety at risk through uncalculated actions.”
While affirming his respect for “freedom of peaceful expression,” the Army emphasized that “does not allow breach or infringement of civil peace security, blocking roads, or infringement of public and private property.”
He emphasized the “responsible needs for citizens and all stakeholders to act responsibly during these difficult times, and the importance of unity and solidarity to overcome the dangers our nation faces.”
Meanwhile, the Lebanese Ministry of Defense made clear that the Defense Minister’s circular statement regarding coordination with Israeli enemies to restrict weapons possession to the state was inaccurate, and that Major General Michel Menassa, in his cooperation with the Supervisory Committee, meant coordination to commence coordination to implement the mechanism.
The Ministry of Defense’s Ministry of Public Relations and the Media Department confirmed, “The talk of coordination with the Israeli enemy was purely manufacturing and slander, and Major General Manasseh did not directly or indirectly mention coordination with the enemy.”
“What he means by coordination to begin implementing the mechanism is with Lebanon and the five-member committee member states that oversee the halt of hostilities.”
The statement added, “The speech on Lebanon, which is being directed by Israeli enemies, is a deliberate distortion of the facts of the short-term dialogue, and a malicious excerpt intended to mislead public opinion at the early stages of implementing a government plan to restrict the possession of arms to the Lebanese state.”
