TEHRAN – Kamal Khalazi, chairman of the Foreign Strategic Council and former foreign minister who was injured in a terrorist attack by the United States and enemy Israel, was martyred late Thursday.
Mr. Khalaj was an advisor to Islamic revolutionary leader and martyr Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei. Chairman of the Foreign Policy Council. Former Foreign Minister of Iran. Director of the Iranian Institute of Cognitive Science and Higher Education. He is also a member of the Expediency Identification Council.
Throughout his career, he also held other executive positions, including CEO of the Institute of Child and Adolescent Intellectual Development, CEO of the Islamic Republic News Agency, and Permanent Representative of the Islamic Republic of Iran and Ambassador to the United Nations.
